various school supplies and text "back to school"

We were so thrilled to have such a fantastic turnout for Peck Community School's Open House on 8/25!  Over 90% of families were in attendance for this special evening!  We wanted to give families a chance to get inside, see their classrooms, and give our custodial crew a chance to sanitize again before students arrive for the school year.

Our first day is going to be Tuesday 8/31 and the school day is 8:00-3:00 pm.  The school building will be open for students starting at 7:50 am.  Staff will be at the doors and we ask that you allow your child to walk in with them.  We will not have guests enter the building or classrooms at this time but hope to be able to relax some guidelines once the school year is underway and we have had a chance to monitor the ongoing situation.  Students in the JH/HS that did not receive their schedules at the open house should report to the media center to begin the morning Tuesday. If you need to turn in paperwork or need other assistance, we ask that you enter through the elementary or JH/HS front entrance and do so in the office.

We are doing our best to ensure that our students and staff are safe and are using our same guidelines as last year regarding cohorting and sanitation. We will be following any MANDATES set forth from state and local agencies.  At this time, the RECOMMENDATION is to wear a facial covering, so we are allowing families to make that decision individually.  If any of this changes, we will let you know.

Once again, Peck Schools will be able to offer free lunch and breakfast to all students in attendance, HOWEVER, we are still in need of the Free/Reduced lunch forms from you as other sources of funding come from these very important documents.

We ask that with the new year and the new start time and end time for school that you remain open-minded and flexible with bussing and other services as it will take us time to get into a routine. We are so excited to begin the 2021-22 school year.  Please send positive vibes our way as we welcome students in our building.
