H1N1 VIRUS
As you are aware the H1N1 Virus has been in the news on a regular basis now and seems to be spreading quickly across the country. It is important to keep in mind that prevention is very important in controlling the spread of this virus, the flu, strep illnesses, or colds. Frequent hand washing, covering your mouth when coughing or sneezing and getting plenty of rest and eating properly are all very important to maintain optimal health. If your child begins to feel ill and has a temperature, it is essential that the child stays home until they are without symptoms/temperature for 24 hours to avoid spreading the illness to others.

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
Thanks to all parents who attended conferences last week. This is a very important part of the partnership between parents, student and school in providing the necessary support for continued academic growth. If you were unable to attend, we would be more than happy to set up a time to discuss any concerns you may have. Please be reminded, we will continue to send home progress reports every three weeks and you can also monitor your child progress through ZANGLE. Accessing ZANGLE allows parents and students to monitor grades on a regular basis.
